Al's Barber Shop- Boulder to Hold Fundraising Cut-a-thon on Sunday, July 10, 2016

Boulder Community Comes Together to Benefit Family of Bill Davis

Boulder's own, Al's Barber Shop, will host a fundraising cut-a-thon on Sunday, July 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., benefiting the family of Boulder resident Bill Davis, who tragically lost his life in a recent bicycle accident.

The Davis kids are long-time clients of Al's Barber Shop and were recently sharing with stylists there just how excited they were for the upcoming summer and all of their family plans. When the staff at Al's learned of the tragic biking accident that took their father's life, they instantly wanted to do something to help the Davis family.

"Over the years, I have focused my career on giving back to our community," said Al Urbanowski, owner of Al's Barber Shop. "I am a cycling enthusiast and have been a long-time supporter of the cycling community. When I received news about Bill's life being so tragically cut short, I had to do something to help. I thought this was the perfect opportunity for our stylists to work with the community doing what they love the most while at the same time donating to such a worthy cause."

The greater Boulder community is invited to come to Al's Barber Shop located at 1219 Pennsylvania Avenue in Boulder for any haircut service on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 0:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the Davis family, in honor of Boulder resident, Bill Davis.
