Boulder's Hill Gets Glitzy Outdoor Holiday Decor

On Friday, December 5th The Hill Boulder and the City of Boulder paired to "Light the Hill" a special event to commemorate the city's purchase of all new LED lights for the University Hill Commercial District. Gathered in front of the historic Fox Theatre, there were cookies, cocoa and camaraderie between business owners, community members and neighbors. Over fifty-plus spectators of various ages from all walks of life joined together to celebrate the lighting of trees with special guests Boulder City Council's Andrew Shoemaker and Santa. In keeping with the eclectic and bohemian vibe of The Hill, traditional white lights were switched out for vibrant hues. Our Hill neighbors, Grace Lutheran Church, led the crowd in spirited carols with a rollicking band. We look forward to continuing and growing this event next year! Happy Holidays from us at The Hill Boulder.
